Oh gosh, you don’t have to be so formal, haha! Now I’m really not the best at coding or Tumblr layouts, but I’m going to try my best to describe what I did and hope I’ll be able to help a little!
A lot of the coding can actually be changed just by going to your own page and hitting the “customize” button in the top corner, making a side menu pop up. I added my DA/Twitter links and background image this way. If you scroll down the side menu, you’ll see a box where you can add links (( Link 1, Link 2, etc. )). Put those links there and viola!
To change the background image, you’ll actually have to go into the HTML and mess around with it. Look for something that looks like “background-image:url…”, the easiest way being to hit CTRL+F, then type it in. The URL there will be the one for your current Tumblr background. Change the URL to another image you’d like and that should take care of that. :D
It took a LOT of trial and error as well as research for me to finally get something custom I liked and it can be very frustrating with all of the codes; just don’t give up! Remember, the Internet is your friend so if you have a question about HTML, you can always look it up. Hope that helps. C:
I-it is? NO IT’S NOT, LIES. *books it*
Thank you so much! ;0;
OKAY BUT IT WON’T BE PRETTY.
BOOOW CHIKKA CHIKKA WEEEOOOOAAAAAHHHHHH DEEDLY DIDDLY REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. [insert guitar riff]
Aww gosh, it’s because I have a bad habit of not telling anybody when it’s my birthday. I just don’t wanna come off as bragging. I-it’s no big deal, really! ;w;
I would really love to sell prints and bags and phone covers and all kinds of merchandise of my artwork! I just don’t know where I’d be able to do that without getting into some copyright trouble. ;n; I know DeviantArt has a prints account, but they are very strict when it comes to fan art and simply don’t allow it.
Do you guys know of any places that would allow me to make prints of my fan art, while earning a few bucks on the side?
I CC WHAT YOU DID THAR.
