Thanks for all the suggestions! :D
Gimme an artist and I will try and imitate their style because THIS SEEMS FUN, YEAH. Any artist, even fellow Tumblr artists are encouraged (( I am secretly hoping I’ll get to imitate some artist friends’ cool styles! )). SO GIVE ME SOME SUGGESTIONS, WHAT’RE YOU WAITING FOR??? :>
PS- If you could link me to the artist’s page, that would be super helpful! I’m not familiar with many people, oops.
I did and I seriously love each person’s version of a character I made, each one is so different and cool! It brings me so much joy that so many people really like something that I designed and I can’t ever get over it either, so it’s all thanks to them that he’s as popular as he is now! ;w;
Auuughhh this is actually something I really struggle with almost constantly. To be honest, I’m actually not quite sure how to appropriately price my artwork, even now. I’ve been told that I’m too expensive, and I’ve also been told that I’m way under-priced for the quality that I produce. So gauging what I draw in monetary worth is really difficult for me! I guess what I try to do is estimate about how long I think a project will take me to complete, and translate that time into money. Though to be honest, my estimations are often completely wrong and I usually take much MUCH longer on my commissions than I originally think because I want to be sure that both the customer and myself are satisfied with the result. Sometimes it’s really helpful to look around at other fellow artist’s commission prices and see how they price themselves too. It’s a really tough balance that I’m still trying to perfect, but with each commission I complete, I’m also learning from them! It’s a forever-learning process.
